Did Savage Garden have the potential to surpass Hall and Oates? - savage garden album blogspot

Savage Garden released released 2 albums (no greatest hits album) and 24 million (12 million) each on average.

In 4 years, Hall and Oates had 4 # 1 hits and Success # 5 These were the only ones who have been top-10th In 2 years, Savage Garden 2 # 1 hits and success came 4th #

Sales of the album is where Savage Garden has a great advantage. When Savage Garden was not broken and they are still together today, we would refer to them as the greatest place duo Hall and Oates?

Do not listen to all respects, but the influence of Hall & Oates "still in popular music. Back in the 90s, were taken by De La Soul and Simply Red again at the beginning of this century. Not to say sampling is a recognition of his achievements, but nothing like it for the SG yet ...

Maybe in a few years ago, Savage Garden has something similar. But until then I'm sorry, but also a melting and shade for Savage Garden.

Hall & Oates had 8 # 1 songs and more than 30 to 40 visits. Savage Garden does not even come close, Hall & Oates as hitmaking popularity or success
