Car deposit refund? - can i return a second hand car
We have a deposit (€ 300) by credit card in a used car from a dealer, they said they do not have the logbook, and it takes two weeks to another is received from the DVLA so 3 weeks and still no trace of him. (He had sold the car to a man who could not afford the Finanace and had to return the car - not back, the record book)
I mean bail, there is nothing in the deposit receipt for the money is not repaid?

You call the credit card company and cancel the transaction.
It would be a breach of an oral contract to explain to them and ask for their money.
